At AIM we believe every child deserves a strong dance foundation from their very first class. In all of our combo classes students will learn independence, cooperation, and sharing as well as movement skills such as balance, coordination, and fine motor skills. All of our instructors strive to help our dancers find the joy and creativity in dance. Our Dance Beginnings classes start at age 2 and go through age 6. All of the classes are combo classes which may include ballet, jazz, hip hop, or tap.
Recreational Attire:
Ballet/Jazz Combo: ballet dress, leotard, or tank with shorts or leggings. Students will need Pink Ballet shoes and Tan Jazz shoes or twylas (decided by teacher). Students should have their hair in a high ponytail or manicured bun.
Jazz/HH Combo: Leotard or tank with shorts or leggings. Students will need clean sneakers and Tan Jazz shoes or twylas (decided by teacher). Students should have their hair in a high ponytail or manicured bun.
Ballet: Burgundy leotard (for sale in our store), pink tights (for sale in our store), pink ballet shoes and have their hair in a manicured bun.
Jazz & Lyrical: leotard or tank with booty short or leggings with Twyla shoes. Hair should be in a high ponytail or manicured bun.
Tap: leotard or tank with booty short or leggings with Black Tap shoes. Hair should be in a high ponytail or manicured bun.
Acro: leotard or tank with booty short or leggings. Hair should be in a high pony-tail or manicured bun.
Hip Hop: leotard, or tank/sports bra with booty short or leggings with clean sneakers. Hair should be in a high ponytail or manicured bun.
