Lisa started part-time at Island Art & Framing when her daughter Siobhan was less than a year old. Lisa continued employment with the framing company until she purchased it in the year 2000.

That’s how long Lisa Santapaola owner and the Director of Island Art & Framing has been designing art programs for the tri-state area with art, custom framing, custom mirrors, and professional installations. Along with her husband Larry an accomplished art director, they have brought style, design, and good taste to the interiors of some of the area’s most prestigious corporations, residential interiors, and area restaurants.
When it came time to take her organizational and management skills to Art In Motion, Inc. she did not hesitate. After being in and owning her own business for decades it was time to lend a hand to this new up-and-coming Dance Company.
Being part of the community for over 35 years in the Melville and surrounding areas, it was a perfect fit.
