A native New Yorker, Athena Castiglione appeared on New York Live, modeling under stylist, Lilliana Vasquez. Along with appearing in Cablevision commercials regionally, has also co-starred on “My Transient Life,” directed by Charlie Matthes. Among many other artists Athena has also co-starred in John Legend’s music video “Everybody Knows,” directed by Anthony Mandler.
She has also currently worked on set in, “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty,” directed by Ben Stiller, as well as “Kilimanjaro,” directed by Walter Strafford. Assistant to well known hip-hop choreographer Bam Bam (Amenra Valentine) she has also performed with Rihanna for VH1’s “Fashion Rocks.” Athena Castiglione has a B.F.A in Jazz/Theatre dance where she attended The University of The Arts in Philadelphia.
She is presently teaching Dance and Acting at Art In Motion Dance Center for 7 years in New York. She is so grateful for her Art In Motion family, “I’m inspired everyday by my students and so blessed to have the opportunity to teach them! I don’t know what I would do without them- Thank You, and love you all so much!” Athena would like to thank her family for all of their love and support, without them she would not be able to pursue her dreams.
